Alpha Test V0.04 - Changelog (Final Build until Further Notice)
Hello again- this will be the final build for a while, but should hopefully encompass most game-breaking errors. Thanks to the testers as always, and enjoy V.04.
~Alpha Build .04 Changelog~
Additions:
-Alcoves now have proper a proper model and texture
-New Controls screen on both the Main Menu and Pause Menu
-Program now has an icon
Changes:
-Hiding spots now animate to give a visual confirmation for hiding
-Hiding spots are slightly more common, and can also be found in Alcoves
-Monster now spawns after the first resource is picked up
-The Monster should now spawn outside of the player's view range
-If the monster loses sight of the player and hears a noise, it will investigate the noise while remaining alert
-Resources now spawn further apart (they can theoretically still spawn closer together, but very rarely)
-Spread out the glass shards on noisy rafters
-Adjusted the placeholder font's gradient
-Updated the Credits with missing names and titles
Bug Fixes:
-Fixed Main Menu Options menu (was previously unresponsive)
-It is no longer possible to Pause during the Win and Game Over screens
-The monster should navigate around pillars and near walls much better then before
-Noisy Rafters should no longer distract the monster from pursuing the player
-Noise no longer alerts the monster before it spawns
-Corrected the Bridge's collider to account for its new size
-The player should now be killed on contact with the monster as intended.
-The Pause Menu title is now properly hidden during Exit Game confirmation
-Alcove lighting was improved
