Alpha Test V0.03 - Changelog


In this version, more bugs have been fixed, and the Monster's AI has undergone an overhaul. A note to testers: this overhaul is still a WIP, as is the monster's AI as a whole, so in this version in particular, you may find that the monster is hyper-aggressive and far more persistent. Feedback on how this impacts gameplay would be highly valuable to us. Thanks, as always, to all the testers for their help!

**~Alpha Build .03 Changelog~**
Additions:
-Added fog
-Added camera sensitivity slider
-Added Game Over music/cue
-Began to build a ceiling for the world

Changes:
-The monster's turning speed was increased
-The monster can now see the player in any direction while pursuing
-The monster's attacks now physically kill the player, rather then using a projected kill zone
-The monster now drastically slows down while attacking
-The monster is now aware of when the player is on the rafters VS on the ground
-The monster's sight now stems from its eyes, rather then its body
-The monster will now check the rafters if it knows the player is there, but has lost sight of them
-The monster is shorter
-The monster should no longer stick its head through the rafters after growing bigger to attack
-The monster is much more persistent
-Lights have a visible cone in the fog
-The bridge item has been shortened
-Left Click now uses items, with E becoming the Universal Interact Key (Picking Up Items, Swapping Items, and Climbing Ropes all use E)
-Right Click now cancels item usage/previews
-Pickup items are now outlined in red
-The Shield item now makes you invulnerable for 4 seconds when broken by the monster

Bug Fixes:
-Reprogrammed and overhauled the MusicManager; music should now transition and play consistently
-Fixed the exit condition softlock
-Fixed the cursor locking on menus
-Fixed the cursor becoming visible when it shouldn't be
-Fixed error with breaking objects before the monster has spawned
-Fixed monster struggling to turn around when facing the opposite direction of its current pathfinding destination
